An Indian company to set up a new PET plant in Geel

An Indian based company – JBF Industries – is to set up a new polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plant in the town of Geel. PET is an extremely important industrial polymer which has a wide spectrum of uses, ranging from food packaging to engineering glass fibers. JBF Industries, which was established in 1982, is one of the top players in the Polyester Partially Oriented Yarns (POY) in India. TNT Express launches a dedicated freighter service between India & Europe

Logistic service provider TNT Express has launched a dedicated B767 freighter service between India and Europe. The service will run five times a week between New Delhi and TNT’s European air hub in Belgium, with a stopover in Dubai on the way back to India. The new service will enable TNT Express customers to enjoy faster transit times for shipments moving between India and Europe.
The new B767 freighter service has a weekly capacity of 210 tonne.

Luxembourg trade mission visits India

From January 10th-13th, the Minister of Economy and Trade of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg, Mr. Jeannot Krecké, has led a trade mission to India during which he visited the cities of Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai.

Minister Krecké was be joined by about thirty businessmen representing companies of different sectors of the Luxembourg economy, as well as by about ten high ranking civil servants and ten representatives of Luxembourg media.
