Binani Industries Limited (BIL), the holding company of the $1.6-billion Braj Binani Group, has acquired 3B, a Belgian fibreglass major, for euro 275 million. 3B has its headquarters in Battice, in the Wallonia region of Belgium.
3B is Europe’s leading manufacturer of fibreglass for reinforcement of thermoplastics and thermoset polymer applications, and is a preferred supplier to global leaders in industries, including automotive and wind energy. Logistic service provider TNT Express has launched a dedicated B767 freighter service between India and Europe. The service will run five times a week between New Delhi and TNT’s European air hub in Belgium, with a stopover in Dubai on the way back to India. The new service will enable TNT Express customers to enjoy faster transit times for shipments moving between India and Europe.
The new B767 freighter service has a weekly capacity of 210 tonne.
