BBA member, M.V.Kini & Co., has achieved top ranking in Dealogic’s “Global Project Finance Review,” covering the global project finance marketplace in 1H 2009.

According to Dealogic, the total Global Project Finance volume decreased by 41% to $115.0bn in 1H 2009, compared with $193.5bn raised in1H 2008.  Western European project finance volume reached $25.6bn; whereas Asian volume reached $36.0bn, an increase of 6% on 1H 2008 and the highest first half volume on record. India led the nationality rankings globally with $31.9bn.

M.V. Kini & Co. was listed among the top 5 Legal Advisers for Global PFI/PPP Project Finance Deals, with a total deal volume of $1.376bn via four deals (see page 10 of the attached Dealogic’s Report).
