CMI Group plans to acquire Flat Products Equipments (I) Ltd., (FPE) to extend its reach in growing Steel Equipment Market. The Belgian Group Cockerill Maintenance & Ingénierie (CMI) has concluded  Share Purchasing Agreements for acquiring a majority shareholding in two Indian companies respectively of 55.04 % of Flat Products Equipments (I) Ltd., and 100% shareholding of  its related company, NT Strips & Automation Private Limited.
